On 18 December 2015, H.E. Mr. Vutti Vuttisant, Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government, presented financial aid of 1,140,000 baht (equivalent to 3,348,017.62  NPRs) to Phra Bhikku Maitri Maha Thero, abbot of Ananta Kuti Vihar. This financial aid will be used for the renovation of the temple which has been heavily damaged by the earthquake since April 2015. The ceremony was also witnessed by Phra Sribodhivides, acting abbot of the Royal Thai Monastery, Lumbini, the Embassy’s officials, as well as Thai medical team who participated in cataract workshop in Nepal.
