On February 8, 2016  Mr. Danai Menabodhi, Charge d’ Affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy in Riyadh, paid an audience to H.R.H. Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Riyadh, on the occasion of his duty assumption.

 

            Mr. Danai marked 2017 as 60th anniversary of relations between Thailand and Saudi Arabia and highlighted that the Thai side has been working out for normalization of bilateral relations. Prince Faisal also wished Mr. Danai success during his term in Riyadh to achieve the goals and missions of the Embassy in revitalizing relations and cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The possibility of creating ‘Sister Cities’ between Alriyadh Municipality and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration was also raised during the discussion and would be explored in the future.
