On the full moon day of 22 February 2016, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai and Ladies Association of Dubai and the Northern Emirates organized an activity  to mark the Makabucha Day.

 

            The making merit activities such as listening to Dhamma preaching, praying, meditation, candle lighting ceremony were led by a Thai monk from Thai Meditation Center, UAE. The event was presided by  Mr. Fabio Chinda, Acting Consul-General and Mr. Chantouch Srinilta, General Manager of THAI Airways Int'l PCL for UAE & Middle East, as well as the Consulate staff and more than 50 Buddhist followers, both Thais and foreigners.
