On 29 March 2016, Mr. Songpol Sukchan, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, hosted a farewell luncheon to H.E. Mr. Mark Kent, British Ambassador to Thailand, upon the completion of his tenure in Thailand, at Sattabongkot Room. The luncheon was attended by the high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and relevant Thai agencies, including the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the British Chamber of Commerce of Thailand.
