On 9 June 2016, HE Mr Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia led the Embassy and Team Thailand officials as well as members of the Thai Community in Malaysia in a morning prayer and merit making ceremony on the Auspicious Occasion of the 70th Anniversary of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej's Accession to the Throne at Thai Buddhist Chetawan Temple, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
