On 9 June 2016, Minister Teerapong Vanichanon, Chargé D'affaires of Thailand to Brazil, presided over the ceremony to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s Accession to the Throne, held at the Royal Thai Embassy in Brasilia. The attendees are officers of the Royal Thai Embassy and their families, Team Thailand in Brasilia, and members of the Thai community in Brasilia. The Thai Community, around 200 people throughout Brazil, also joined this celebration by making merit, giving prayer for the king, and expressing their deep admiration and gratitude for His Majesty the King’s tireless work to advance sustainable development and prosperity throughout the Kingdom of Thailand.
