On 9 June 2016 H.E. Mr. Komate Kamalanavin, Ambassador of Thailand to the United Arab Emirates presided over the event to celebrate the auspicious occasion of the 70th Anniversary of His Majesty the King of Thailand’s accession to the throne on June 9, 2016. The event was held at the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi. The Thai Embassy officials, local staff and their families as well as Thai nationals living in the United Arab Emirates attended the event.The participants paid their homage and best wishes to His Majesty the King and joined a candlelight ceremony and singing of royal anthems.
