On 15 August 2016, H.E. Mr. Andriy Beshta, Ambassador of Ukraine to Thailand, paid an introductory call on H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Both sides discussed the upcoming visit of H.E. Mr Pavlo Klimkin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in October 2016 and possible signing of pending bilateral agreements such as Trade Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Government of Ukraine; and Treaty between the Kingdom of Thailand and Ukraine on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters.

H.E. Minister of Foreign Affairs also expressed Thailand’s readiness to attend the 2^nd Political Consultation in Kiev, Ukraine and to host the 1^st Meeting of the Joint Commission on Bilateral Cooperation (JC) in Bangkok at mutually convenient dates.
