On 21 October 2016, Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs, presided over the merit-making ceremony for His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. An approximate of 300 senior officials, officials, and retirees of the Ministry attended the ceremony.  After that, the Minister delivered a statement to pay tribute to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, and then led the gathering in observing minute's silence, singing the royal anthem, and signing the book of condolences.
