On 21 October 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy, led by His Excellency Mr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum, Ambassador of Thailand, organized prayer and meditation as a homage to mark the 7th day of the passing away of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Over 90 Thai nationals and Friends of Thailand in Qatar attended the ceremony with deep sorrow. On this occasion, a book of condolences was opened for the Thai nationals and Friends of Thailand. To mark to the 50th day of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's passing, the Embassy will hold a ceremony on 2 December 2016. Details programme will be circulated soon.

           On this occasion, the book of condolences shall remain open for the Thai nationals and Friends of Thailand on weekdays during 08.30 - 12.00 hrs. and 14.00 - 16.30 hrs.
