For the 2017 Work Plan, TICA and TCD will conduct four training courses under the theme of Trade Facilitation and Public Health for the ASEAN Member States and Timor-Leste. In support of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, both sides are committed to reinforce Global Partnership (Goal 17). This partnership will contribute in efforts to attain Goal 3 (to promote good health and well-being), and Goal 8 (to promote decent work and economic growth).
This partnership will also contribute to the ASEAN vision of an integrated and cohesive ASEAN Community.
The Government of Thailand and the Government of Singapore have jointly extended technical cooperation to ASEAN Member States particularly CLMV and Timor-Leste by conducting capacity building courses under trilateral cooperation since 1997.
