1. Thailand is gravely concerned and disappointed over the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea’s (DPRK) intercontinental ballistic missile test on 28 July 2017, the second test-launch this month. This is a total disregard to the calls of the international community, a clear violation of UNSC resolutions, and runs counter to efforts made by all parties at achieving a peaceful solution and further narrowed the window of communication which is currently available
to the DPRK.
2. Thailand urges the DPRK to halt any further nuclear and ballistic missiles tests, comply with the relevant UNSC resolutions, refrain from any provocative actions that may obstruct possible dialogues.
3. Thailand hopes that all parties would use peaceful means and continue to work towards the realisation of peace and stability on a denuclearised Korean Peninsula.
