The Royal Thai Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand offer our profound sympathy and condolences on the passing of U.S. Senator John McCain on 25 August 2018. Senator McCain was a statesman recognized for his selfless service to his country. He was also a good friend of Thailand and strong supporter of Thai-American relations. His legacy and patriotic service to his country will serve as an inspiration and example for many around the world.
