he Royal Thai Consulate General in Karachi represented by Mr. Apipan Cheecharoen, Acting Consul General, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) represented by Mr. Chaiwat Tamthai, Chief ASEAN, South Asia and South Pacific Marketing Integration Section, participated in the travel trade show entitled “Pakistan Travel Mart (PTM) 2018” during October 2nd- 4th, 2018 at Karachi Expo Center, Karachi, Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

           Thai private sectors including airlines, hotel, tour operator and hospital industries joined TAT in exhibiting booths at the PTM. This year is the second year that Thailand joined PTM with the objective of boosting and promoting Thailand as a preferred tourist destination in Pakistan. Cultural performance showcasing Thai traditional culture and demonstration was also organized during the event.
