ASEAN Heads of Missions in Canberra including C.D.A. Thippawan Supamitkitja and Ambassador of Timor-Lesté, as Dean of the Diplomatic Corp. met with Foreign Minister Senator the Hon Marise Payne at the Parliament House on ๑๗ September ๒๐๑๘. On this occasion, FM Payne said  “I am familiar with and very committed to the Australia-ASEAN relationship and will take every opportunity to work together for security and prosperity in the region.”  She will step up to increase her engagement and her activities with all of ASEAN Ambassadors and  ASEAN countries.  ASEAN Heads of Missions was the first grouping to meet with FM Payne after she took up the office as Foreign Minister.
