On 26 November 2018, H.E. Mr. Pornpop Uampidhaya presented the Letters of Credence, appointing him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to  the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, to H.E. Dr. Arif Alvi, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan,  at the Aiwan-e-Sadr (Presidency), Islamabad.  After the presentation, Ambassador Pornpop had a bilateral meeting with H.E. the President during which, several issues were discussed to promote and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
