On 5th December 2018, Minister Thippawan Supamitkitja, Royal Thai Embassy, attended ‘One Night in Bangkok’ Gala Charity Balll which organized by Mr. Andrew Park, Thai Honourary Consul-General to Queensland, at Westin Hotel, Brisbane to celebrate three important and intertwined occasions namely; the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand and Thailand’s Father’s Day.

 

          The event aimed to help raise fund to support the “Princess Sirindhorn Craniofacial Center” at Chulalongkorn Hospital under the Thai Redcross Society.  The Centre has been established to care for patients with deformities in the main features of the head, like the eyes, nose, mouth, brain and face which causing both physical and mental pain.  The presence of the Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Councillor Graham Quirk, who came to conduct the fundraising auction  was very much appreciated.
