Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs attends the launch of AIT School of Professional Intelligence (AITSPIN)

On 12 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, represented the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to deliver remarks and attend the launch event for the Asian Institute of Technology School of Professional Intelligence (AITSPIN) at the Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, Bangkok. The Vice Foreign Minister was welcomed by General Dr. Boonsrang Niumpradit, Chairman of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Board of Trustees and Professor Pai-Chi Li, President of the AIT.

The Vice Foreign Minister highlighted that AIT’s missions align with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ focus on development diplomacy, especially South-South cooperation, regional human capital development, and Thailand’s goal of advancing toward a digital society and economy. Professor Warsak Kanok-Nukulchai, Founding Executive Director of AITSPIN, gave a presentation on the school’s model of professional education through flexible learning from anywhere. The program focuses on developing skills and capabilities of working professionals to meet the demands of the artificial intelligence era.
