On 5 May 2025, Ambassadors of Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand, as ASEAN Committee in Athens (ACAT), paid a joint courtesy call on H.E. George Gerapetritis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic. During the amicable and constructive meeting, both sides discussed the prospective areas of cooperation both at bilateral and regional levels such as civil protection, tourism, AI innovation, energy and people to people contact. The Ambassadors also congratulated Greece on her assumption of the Presidency of the United Nations Security Council UNSC) for the month of May 205 and expressed their willingness to work with Greece in the United Nations.
