On 28 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, on the sidelines of the 25th ASEAN - EU Ministerial Meeting in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamism of Thai - Singapore relations and the comprehensive nature of their strong bilateral ties, which reflects a closeness valued by both sides. It was also an opportunity to exchange viewpoints on regional issues such as the situation in the Middle East and efforts to strengthen energy security in ASEAN, notable developments in the situation in Myanmar after the visit to Myanmar by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Thailand - Cambodia border situation.
