On 4 August 2026, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand, paid a courtesy call on the Hon Robyn Cahill MP, Minister of Trade, Business and Asia Relations of Northern territory at the Northern Territory Parliament House in Darwin. Both sides discussed opportunities for enhancing trade, investment and cooperative partnerships between Thailand and the Northern Territory in potential sectors such as energy, agriculture and food, and advanced industries. They also exchanged views on Northern Territory’s ongoing and planned development of infrastructure and other large-scale projects, as well as its policy to increase engagement with Asia.
