Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra welcomes participants of the “Embassy Circuit” activity organised by the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA)

On 21 August 2026, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, together with officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra, welcomed participants of the “Embassy Circuit” activity organised by the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA) at the Embassy.

On this occasion, Ambassador gave a briefing and exchanged views with the participants, comprising students from the Australian National University (ANU) and other schools as well as AIIA staff, on various topics, including the longstanding Thailand–Australia relationship, bilateral cooperation in various areas, the roles Thailand and Australia play in promoting peace, security and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region, as well as educational and career opportunities including in foreign affairs for interested young Australians.

The “Embassy Circuit” activity provided an opportunity for participants to gain first-hand information on Thailand, as well as to learn about the role of the Royal Thai Embassy in advancing Thailand–Australia relations. The activity was held following the official visit to Australia by H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of Thailand, providing an opportunity to discuss and learn about the latest developments in Thailand–Australia relations and the promotion of people-to-people ties. The participants also visited and learned about the history of the Embassy’s premises.
