On April 27, 2025, Mrs. Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, Deputy Consul General, attended the 2025 Songkran Festival at Wat Phrasriratanaram in Florissant, Missouri.

During the event, the Deputy Consul General joined the Thai community in a merit-making and alms-giving ceremony. In the afternoon, volunteer teachers and students from Wat Phrasriratanaram presented traditional Thai music and dance performances. The festival also featured a Miss Songkran contest, various Thai food vendors from the local Thai community, and a mobile consular service provided by the Royal Thai Consulate-General.

The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chicago wishes to extends appreciation to Wat Phrasriratanaram, board members, volunteers, and the entire Thai community including their families for all related participation.
