On July 13, 2025, H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States, and Consul General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, accompanied by their delegation, attended the Asalha Bucha Day and Buddhist Lent Day ceremonies at Wat Buddhabarami in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.

On this occasion, the Ambassador and Consul- General participated in an alms offering to the monks and the merit-making ceremony, together with the Thai community in Nebraska and had a cordial talks, as well as provided information regarding consular services.
