On 9 April 2025, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, along with officials and staff of Team Thailand in Chicago, participated in preserving the Songkran tradition by respectfully presenting “(1) Phra Phuttha Chindhammophas (2) Phra Phuttha Ratchamaitri Srisamphan and (3) Phra Phuttha Sirindhorn Thep Ratnamongkhon Phuwadon Santhi,” which are enshrined at the Consulate-General, for the traditional water offering to bring peace, happiness, and prosperity.

On this occasion, the officials and staff jointly performed the traditional water pouring and received blessings from the Consul-General and the Director of the Team Thailand Office in celebration of the Songkran Festival 2025.
