On January 23, 2025, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, and Consul Urasee Thiratangsathira Jeong, along with the directors of Team Thailand Chicago, met with Ms. Korawan Muangmode, President of the Thai Cultural Council of Minnesota, Mr. Dee Noree, President of Wat Promwachirayan, and Phramaha Chamnian Bunma, Head Monk of Wat Promwachirayan, to discuss the upcoming 'Songkran Festival 2025,' scheduled to take place at the Minnesota State Capitol on May 10-11, 2025. They also sought support in promoting Thailand's soft power initiatives, particularly Thai cuisine, culture, fashion, sports, and tourism.
