On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of Singapore on 20 September 2025, H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, and H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Kingdom of Thailand, have issued the following congratulatory messages:


1. Message from the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore

Excellency,

       On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I have the honour of extending to Your Excellency, my warm congratulations on the auspicious occasion of the 60^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of Singapore on 20 September 2025.

       As we reflect on six decades of an enduring friendship between Thailand and Singapore, I am pleased that both our countries have nurtured a close and multifaceted cooperation, ranging from security and defense ties and dynamic trade and investment to collaboration on digital and green economy, and people-to-people exchanges. Our mutual trust, strengthened by a shared commitment as fellow ASEAN founding members, has always been the cornerstone of our relations.

       As we look ahead, the Royal Thai Government affirms its commitment to working closely with the Government of Singapore in elevating our cooperation and partnership to greater heights, bringing even greater opportunities and more resilient future for our peoples, countries, and the international community.

2. Message from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore 

Excellency,

       I wish to extend my warmest congratulations to you and the people of the Republic of Singapore on the auspicious occasion of the 60^th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Thailand and Singapore on 20 September 2025.

       The relations between Thailand and Singapore have been marked by close partnership and friendship that are built on the strength of mutual trust, mutual respect and mutual interest. Our bilateral cooperation has grown from strength to strength to encompass a broad range of areas that are beneficial to the peoples of our two countries and the region as a whole, such as security and defense, trade and investment, digital and green economy, and people-to-people connections. 

       I am confident that the relations between Thailand and Singapore will continue to flourish and our forward-looking strategic partnership will continue to embrace the ever-growing new opportunities that the future will bring, as rightly reflected in the theme of our celebration “Thailand – Singapore: Realising Opportunities for New Growth – Strong @ 60”.
