Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark meets with Digital Hub Denmark Executives to Discuss Strengthening of Thailand-Denmark Cooperation on Digital Transformation, Innovation, and GovTech

On 8 July 2026, H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, together with Ms. Pornsiri Supanya, Counsellor, and Ms. Kanchana van Gorp, Project Coordinator to the Thailand - Nordic Countries Innovation Unit (TNIU), met with Mr.Jakob Lindmark Frier, Executive Director of Digital Hub Denmark and Ms. Vanessa Lista, Director for Partnerships and Public Affairs at BLOX, Copenhagen, to discuss ways to further strengthen Thailand–Denmark cooperation on digital transformation, innovation, GovTech, and public-private partnership to foster efficient and sustainable digital ecosystem.

On this occasion, the Ambassador congratulated Mr. Frier on his appointment as Executive Director and thanked Digital Hub Denmark for its continued support to the Royal Thai Embassy, particularly on the exchange of knowledge and best practices for the visiting Thai delegations from both public and private sectors on the role of Digital Hub Denmark which was originally established to increase the competitiveness of Danish SMEs and has now become a center connecting public and private sectors and tech startups for resources and capital, as well as establishing international partnerships for Danish technology companies.

Both sides also discussed future cooperation between Digital Hub Denmark and relevant Thai agencies through activities such as policy dialogue, exchange of experts and delegation, partnerships between Thai and Danish technology companies, participation in “Beyond GovTech 2026,” Denmark’s key platform for international dialogue on government technology, digital innovation, and international cooperation, as well as the implementation of the Danish GovTech Model to Thailand to drive the development of digital public infrastructure, AI application in the public sector, data governance, cybersecurity, and citizen-centred public services, enhanced collaboration between government agencies and digital, technology and innovation companies.
