On 28 October 2025, Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, met with H.E. Mr. Michael Douglas Mann, Ambassador of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to Thailand, and discussed various international and regional issues.

Thailand and the Sovereign Order of Malta, which established diplomatic relations in 1974, maintain a cordial partnership centred on humanitarian cooperation, with a particular focus on
medical assistance, disaster relief, and social aid through collaboration between the Order’s charitable organizations and Thai institutions.
