On 10 October 2025, Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, welcomed and had a discussion with H.E. Mr. Vakhtang Jaoshvili, Ambassador of Georgia to Thailand with residence in New Delhi, on the occasion of his visit to Thailand to present the Letters of Credence.

Both sides followed up on the outcomes of the 3rd Thailand - Georgia Political Consultations, held on 9 September 2025 in Tbilisi, Georgia. They also discussed the potential for enhancing cooperation between Thailand and Georgia in various areas, including economy, investment, and tourism, particularly the prospects of signing the Air Services Agreement and exploring the possibility of establishing direct flights routes between the two countries.
