On 29 July 2025, Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, welcomed and had a discussion with H.E. Mr. Vakhtang Jaoshvili, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of Thailand with residence in New Delhi.

Both sides discussed the convening of the 3rd Thailand - Georgia Political Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and Georgia, which is scheduled to be held on 9 September 2025, in Tbilisi, Georgia. They also exchanged views on the potential for promoting cooperation between Thailand and Georgia, particularly in the fields of economy, trade, and tourism.
