On 20 January 2026, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had a meeting with Dr. Vinaya Prakash Singh, Secretary-General of the Asian-Pacific Postal Union (APPU).

Both sides discussed the roles of the APPU in promoting regional cooperation in postal services and in supporting the development of postal networks among its member countries. They also exchanged views on the upcoming 14th APPU Congress in August 2026 in Bangkok.
