On 4 September 2026, Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Director-General, Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony of the Third Career Connect (Career Connect 2026) at Amman Rotana Hotel, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The event was organized by the Department in cooperation with the Royal Thai Embassy in Amman for Thai students who have knowledge and skills in the Arabic language and culture.

Thai speakers from various sectors in Thailand were invited to share knowledge and experiences with the students about potential careers matching their interest and expertise.

Speakers included representatives from the Department of Employment, the Department of Provincial Administration, Director of the Halal Standard Institute of Thailand, the founder of Mumtaz Perfume, a famous Thai Influencer, and Youtuber and DeenVlog, and representatives from the Personnel Management Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Approximately 300 participants from several countries in the Middle East and Thailand attended the event both in person in Amman and online.
