On 20 October 2025, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), jointly presided over the opening of a workshop, together with Dr. Youngsuk Jun, Country Director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Thailand, to formulate the 5th KOICA - TICA Action Plan for Development Cooperation between KOICA and TICA for the years 2026 - 2028.

The Director-General provided policy guidance for the collaboration between the two parties in formulating the Action Plan, setting joint goals and expected outcomes of various activities and projects, in order to support the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) under the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

In addition, Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of TICA, together with the KOICA delegation, jointly reviewed the implementation of the 1st - 4th Action Plans and outlined the framework for the 5th Action Plan. This includes areas such as trilateral cooperation, experience sharing through capacity building, as well as monitoring and evaluation of development cooperation activities between KOICA and TICA.
