On 16 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, had discussions with H.E. Pengiran Haji Sahari bin Pengiran Haji Salleh, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Thailand, upon the latter’s completion of his tour of duty.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed appreciation to the Ambassador for his contributions in promoting Thailand - Brunei relations throughout his tenure in Thailand. Both sides also discussed ways to promote exchanges of high-level visits as well as economic cooperation in trade and investment. Afterwards, H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, also had a working lunch with Ambassador.
