On 27 July 2022, H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, hosted luncheon to bid farewell to H.E. Mr. Jean-Paul Senninger, Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to Thailand, at Saneh Jaan Restaurant. Also present from the Thai side were Mr. Asi Mamanee, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs and the Department’s representatives. The foreign guests attending included the Ambassadors of the Republic of Italy, the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Kingdom of Spain to Thailand as well as the Honorary Consul of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Samut Prakan.

Deputy Permanent Secretary took this opportunity to express appreciation to Ambassador Senninger for his active role in strengthening the relations between Thailand and Luxembourg, particularly in the areas of economic cooperation, investment, and financial sectors, and reaffirmed the Thai side’s readiness to support and cooperate with the new Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to Thailand in the near future.
