On 3 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, delivered a special talk on “Proactive Diplomacy: Thailand's Opportunities Beyond Borders" at Dinner Talk: Go Thailand 2026 - Beyond Survival, organized by Thansettakij Newspaper. He discussed six key challenges Thailand is facing, namely: establishing a long-term strategy while addressing immediate issues, overcoming the conflict with Cambodia, global norms that are adapting, foreign policy that will address economic interest, domestic unity, and communicating foreign policy to the public.

The Foreign Minister also portrayed strategies to reinstate Thailand onto the global radar, including integrating it into the supply chain, seeking new economic partners, such as BRICS and OECD, and fostering new industries, such as digital and green economy, to ensure that foreign policy maximizes the benefits for the Thai people.
