H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will pay a visit to Yunnan, China, from 28 – 29 December 2025, at the invitation of H.E. Mr. Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China

During the visit, the Thai Foreign Minister will hold bilateral talks with his Chinese counterpart. He will also participate in the trilateral consultation between China, Thailand and Cambodia, as proposed by China.

The meetings are expected to discuss the latest developments concerning the Thailand – Cambodia situation, building on the outcomes of the 3rd Special Meeting of the General Border Committee (GBC), with a view to ensuring a sustained ceasefire and promoting lasting peace between the two countries.
