On 3 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcomed and held an official discussion with H.E. Mr. Christian Lechervy, Special Envoy for Myanmar of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France. Also in attendance was H.E. Mr. Jukr Boon-Long, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Political Affairs).

Both sides exchanged views on the situation in Myanmar, as well as explored ways to enhance Thailand - France cooperation at both the bilateral and regional levels. They underscored the important roles of Thailand and neighbouring countries in promoting stability in Myanmar, particularly within the framework of ASEAN. They also reaffirmed their readiness to work closely together to support humanitarian assistance and enhance coordination with ASEAN and international partners in contributing to sustainable peace in Myanmar.
