On 11 April 2022, H.E. Mrs. Orna Sagiv, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Thani Thongphakdi, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of her assumption of duty in Thailand.

Both sides emphasised the cordial bilateral relations between Thailand and Israel and discussed means and ways to promote cooperation in areas of mutual interests, particularly on exchange visits, labour, tourism, economic and technical cooperation, and science, technology and innovation (STI). Both sides also exchanged their views on the regional and global issues particularly on the situation in Ukraine and Iran.
