On 16 September 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Lima together with Chulalongkorn University Thai Traditional Youth Orchestra (ChulaThaiYo) had organized Khon performances (Masked Dance Drama in Thailand) and Thai classical music at the Teatro Municipal de Lima to celebrate the 60^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Peru. On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Pisanu Sobhon, Ambassador of Thailand to Peru, andH.E. Mr. Elmer José Germán Gonzalo Schialer Salcedo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru, presided over the opening ceremony. Over 1,000 people attended the event, including Diplomatic corps and their spouses, dignitaries from government/private agencies, the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Thai community in Peru, and the Peruvian public.
