Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Ambassador of France to Thailand sign the Joint Action Plan to Strengthen the Thailand–France Partnership (2026 - 2028)
On 3 July 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Puangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and H.E. Mr. Jean-Claude Poimboeuf, Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Thailand, signed the Joint Action Plan to Strengthen the Thailand - France Partnership (2026 - 2028). Senior officials of the Ministry witnessed the signing ceremony.
The Joint Action Plan reflects the shared commitment of Thailand and France to further deepen the bilateral partnership. It sets out a shared vision and a framework for cooperation through 2028, covering key areas including in the economic, political and security spheres and on technology and innovation, education and research. The Plan lays the foundation for elevating bilateral relations towards a Thailand - France Strategic Partnership.
