On 17 September, 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Mumbai held a ceremony to commemorate the 100th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty King Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII), which falls on 20 September 2025. The event was presided over by Mr. Donnawit Poolsawat, Consul-General of Thailand in Mumbai, who led officials from the Consulate and Team Thailand in Mumbai to pay tribute to His Majesty.

On the same occasion, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Mumbai organised “Sharing with Care,” a royal volunteer activity, to honour His Majesty Rama VIII. The Consul-General presided over the donation ceremony and presented essential food supplies and medicines to the King George V Memorial Charitable Organization, a non-profit institution that supports underprivileged communities in Mumbai, including women, patients, and the elderly. Officials from the Consulate, Team Thailand in Mumbai, and local staff also took part in the activity.
