“The Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s Birthday Anniversary July 28, 2026”

On July 27, 2026, Miss Somjai Taphaopong, Consul-General of Thailand in New York, presided over the ceremonies on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s Birthday Anniversary (July 28, 2026), organized by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York.

During the ceremony, the Consul-General led officials and staff from the Consulate-General and Team Thailand agencies in paying royal tribute, laying flower trays, and taking the Oath of Allegiance to serve as the strength of the land. The commemorative activities also included a Buddhist chanting and merit-making ceremony joined by venerable monks from Vajiradhammapadip Temple, the offering of lunch and monastic requisites as well as the signing the book of well-wishes to express deep gratitude for His Majesty's boundless benevolence.
