The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Penang organised a Buddhist Chanting Ceremony, including offering Sangha Dana and lunch to Buddhist monks on the occasion of the Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, on 12 August 2025. Phra Khru Vineythorn Seeprom, Chief Abbot of Wat Chayamangkalaram, presided over the ceremony for the monks, and H.E. Mr. Psusist Wongsurawat, Consul-General of Thailand in Penang, presided for the seculars and led the officials, staffs, family members of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Penang and Thai communities in Penang to take part in the ceremony.
The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Penang also organised a ceremony to commemorate an auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, on 12 August 2025, at the Royal Thai Consulate - General in Penang. In the ceremony, H.E. Mr. Psusist Wongsurawat, Consul-General of Thailand in Penang, laid flower tray, provided blessings, and led all Consulate - General’s staffs to pay homage to Her Majesty the Queen Mother and participated in candle-lighting ceremony and sang “Sadudee Pra Mae Thai” song.
