On 11 October 2025, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, attended the Pha Pa Samakkhi Ceremony on the occasion of the 170th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the United Kingdom, organized by the British Embassy in Bangkok at Wat Mahathat Yuwaratrangsarit. Also in attendance was Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs.

The British Embassy organized a British Temple Fair at the temple grounds, featuring traditional Thai Temple fair activities with a British touch, which was open to the public for participation and enjoyment. The Ceremony was held to support funds bestowed along with the presentation of the Royal Kathina for the restoration of Wat Buddhapadipa in London, the first Thai temple established in the United Kingdom. The Royal Thai Embassy is scheduled to host the Presentation Ceremony of the Royal Kathina Robes, in which the Royal Kathina Robes graciously bestowed by His Majesty the King will be offered to Wat Buddhapadipa on 1 November 2025.
