On 30 October 2025, Ambassador and Permanent Representative Cherdchai Chaivaivid, together with Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General in New York, presided over the Satamawarn ceremony or a merit-making ceremony to mark the seventh day of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York. The officers, Team Thailand, and their spouses of both offices were present at the ceremony to express their profound gratitude to Her Majesty the late Queen’s great benevolence.
