On 7 February 2024, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, had a productive meeting with Mrs. Anna-Vassiliki Karapanagiotou, Director of the National Archaeological Museum, and Dr. Despina Ignatiadou, Curator and Department Head, Sculpture Collection. Both sides exchanged views on the promotion of cultural cooperation to implement the Cultural Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Hellenic Republic, which was signed in 2004.

Both sides agreed to work closely together to establish the cooperation between museums and share knowledge and expertise on museum management, which would encourage the peoples of the two countries to have better understanding of each other’s history and culture.
