On 15 July 2024, H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic and current Chairperson of the ASEAN Committee in Athens (ACAT) hosted the 33rd Meeting of the ACAT at the Thai residence. The Meeting, attended by the Ambassadors of Indonesia, the Philippines and Viet Nam, discussed the work plan of the ACAT in the second half of 2024 during the Chairmanship of Thailand in order to promote ASEAN-Greece cooperation in areas of mutual interests and to raise the awareness of ASEAN in Greece as well as the preparation for the Celebration Ceremony of the ASEAN Day 2024 on 8th August 2024 at the Thai residence. The Meeting was followed by a working lunch, which were also attended by Mr. Charalampos Bonatsos, the Mayor of Filothei-Psychiko and Mr. Tom Elis, editor of Kathimerini (English edition) as special guests of honour.
