On 23 June 2026, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, joined the panel discussion on the occasion of the International Day of Women in Diplomacy at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), organised by DFAT Workplace Gender Equality Network (WGEN) and Women Heads of Mission in Australia Network (WoHOMA), facilitated by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Australia. The panel discussion served as a platform for senior women diplomats to highlight the critical role of women in advancing peace, security and resilience as well as share their personal experiences in navigating diplomatic career with diplomats from younger generations. The event was well-attended by WoHOMA members and interested DFAT officials.
